WINSTONWIL / WINBUCKS

Charles and Sue Harrison and Jan A. Dickson

Back in the late '70's when we were showing our first Cardigan (Sir Winston of Bealhouse UD) in obedience, there was always some conjecture among the observers ringside as to whether or not this poor little thing with the little bitty short legs would make it over the high jump. Well, the dog nearly always made it over the jumps in both Open and Utility, so whenever Charles would walk out of the ring after their run, he would look around knowingly and proudly to those at ringside and say "see, I told you 'Winston will!'

For 10 years Charles taught Beginner Obedience classes for Kennelwood Inc. here in St Louis.
We have worked with Obedience Training for 30+ years and shown dogs for all of that time.
There have been three Utility Cardigans, one Utility Dog Excellent, seven Companion Dog Excellent degrees and a whole bunch of Novice titles in our past. The breeds we have owned and loved include Italian Greyhounds, a couple of Basenjis and a German Shepard Dog.
