| We have bred our sweet, gentle Corey (Ch. Winbucks Ghost of a Rose) to Ch. Coedwig Black Ice and pups are due on or about May 16th. Corey is pictured on the left and Ice is on the right (at 8 months), above.
"Ice" went Winners Dog at the Del Val Specialty several years ago and has since resided in Japan. "Corey" placed 4th in both the 6-9 Puppy Bitch Class (32 entries) and the 6-9 Puppy Bitch Sweeps Class at the 2006 National Specialty. Here is what the respective judges had to say about Corey: Janet Robinson, Class Judge: "This was such a strong class with depth of quality and this red/sable and white girl had super type with good length of neck and solid long topline, neat fitting elbows along a correct ribcage. Short loin Nicely angulated rear. A little lighter bone than those above. There were others that could have easily laced in the ribbons - such a lovely class." Elizabeth Macnair, Sweeps Judge: "My fourth by a whisker. She has excellent type with a beautiful headpiece, front and shoulders. Lovely mover with a solid topline on movement. Good bone and so pretty to watch coming towards you. The kiss on the table didn't hurt, either." After staying home to mature a little, Corey went on to finish her championship earlier this year. There is a possibility of reds, red sables, black and white and tri-colors in this litter, with toy-carrying, people greeter personalities! For those of you who know us and our Cardigans, temperament, intelligence, personality, correct structure and health are the Number One considerations when we breed a litter. We'll get pictures up on the web as soon as they are born, and follow up weekly thereafter. Feel free to check back often to watch our babies grow! |
